Bagel's Story

Smile and say “Cream CHEESE” for this Bagel! Within days of nearly losing his life in a local, overcrowded pound, beagle boy Bagel is ready for a new start and he began by sitting pretty for some photos. Exceedingly friendly, Bagel, who is estimated to be around 5-6 years old, shared his former digs with another dog which translates into him possibly being a companion dog for another.

Bagel is on the bigger end of the beagle spectrum — likely a 50/50 mix with basset hound, featuring the long ears, sort legs and wide paws — weighing a little over 41 lbs. His low center of gravity serves him well for dragging you along for an enjoyable nose-to-the ground sniff-fest. Yet away from the outdoors he craves affection and appreciates the attention.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
