Bada 's Story

Hi there… I’m Bada! I’m a 2-year-old female Boxer/Mountain Cur mix, weighing about 37 pounds. I’m spayed, fully potty trained, and leash trained — I actually really enjoy my pack walks with my dog friends!

I was found in a poor area of Rosarito when some very kind humans were feeding homeless dogs. I was very underweight and doing my very best to care for my one surviving puppy. We were extremely bonded, and I proved right away that I’m a devoted, loving mama. These days, I’m safe, healthy, and ready for my next chapter — preferably one that includes unlimited pets and a comfy couch!

I am extremely cuddly, affectionate, and sweet. I absolutely LOVE people and will happily glue myself to you while you gently pet me for hours. I don’t ask for much in life — just love, soft blankets, and maybe a snack or two.

I enjoy being social with other dogs and love to play! I have a lovely, gentle play style and read other dogs very well. Because of how much I enjoy canine companionship, I would likely thrive in a home with another playful dog buddy. Kids? Yes please! Cats? Hard pass — we can respectfully agree they are not my vibe.

I have mild energy with a playful side, but overall I’m a go-with-the-flow kind of girl who can settle in nicely in many different homes. I’m truly what my foster calls a “turn-key” girl — sweet, easy, and ready to be someone’s very best friend.

A few of my foster mom’s notes:
• I have wonderful house manners and do not need a crate — I’m not destructive, I’m fully potty trained, and I handle alone time like a champ.
• I am a world-class snuggler and fully believe couches and beds are for sharing… so my future family must be willing to let me join the furniture club. (I promise I make an excellent cuddle buddy!)

If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a professional snuggler, a gentle soul with a resilient heart, and a best friend who thinks you are the greatest thing in the universe… I’m your girl!

My adoption fee is $400, this fee covers my first year of vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like the dog for you? You can fill out an application to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html
