Unfortunately, the injury became infected due to the extreme heat and humidity, but they knew we couldn't leave him behind. After rescuing him, it was discovered that his bone had healed improperly, and Bada needed surgery to correct it. Now, after a successful recovery, Bada is living it up in Illinois as a happy, healthy dog who's ready to leap, run, and enjoy life to the fullest!<br/><br/>Bada has a bright, outgoing personality and is full of energy. There are have been no toileting accidents. He is a very calm spirit and seems perfectly happy just laying at your feet while you are working. He has interacted quite well on two play dates and was observed to initiate play with a somewhat smaller dog. Treats have been inadvertently left in accessible places and he has not bothered them. Leash manners need some work but was better with a no pull harness."
