Meet Bacon!

Bacon is a super affectionate, overall easy guy. He is deaf, and dumb as rocks, so probably won't be winning any obedience competitions, but for what he lacks in brains, he makes up for with love and his goofy personality.

Bacon is easy on leash, and is not reactive. He loves to go for walks, but definitely does not require long ones. He is crate trained, and has never made a peep (aside from his pig-like snorting). He gets along well with our two resident dogs, one of which is a giant, and is very playful with them. He has stayed with a vacation foster that had cats, and generally ignored them.

Bacon is very sweet with our two young children, but he does get very overexcited with them, and immediately wants to play with them like they are dogs (I think he might actually think they are dogs). They give him instant bowling ball zoomies, so older, more physically stable children would be best. He loves to play with toys. He is generally not destructive, but every once in a while will chew something random (like a printer), so might do best crated or confined to a room when you are gone. He loves to be in his crate, so this is not a problem. Bacon does not have accidents as long as he gets his allotted poos/day in, but if he does not, he has no qualms going inside.

Bacon was confiscated from his previous owner due to cruelty, and had horrendously infected ears as well as a skin infection when he came to us. This cleared with antibiotics, but he does still at times get skin irritation on his belly, which we have been able to manage with medicated wipes or baths.

Bacon is such a sweet, loving boy. He is guaranteed to make you smile every day with his physique and jolly personality, and he will make a wonderful addition to almost any home.

If you're interested in meeting, Bacon, please fill out an
application at the link below.

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DHDN/Dog
