Bacon is a 1.5 year old Boxer mix we rescued from Detroit Animal Control (DAC). He is shy when he first meets new people, but quickly warms up to them. He loves to play, cuddle and is very affectionate. Bacon is dog social. Unfortunately we do not know how he is with cats. He requires a fenced yard where he can safely run and play. Bacon is up to date on his vaccinations, house trained as well as crate trained. He will be neutered On Monday, February 8th. Bacon is very excited to find his forever family to give all his love to!!!<br/><br/>All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. Adoption applications are only available at our adoption events. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. Come meet our adoptable dogs at our adoption events every Sunday at the Troy Petco on Coolidge near 15 Mile Rd from 12-4:30pm. Our adoption fee is $275.
