Baby Sophie's Story
Born 6/27/26

Ready for her forever home on or after 8/22/26

Baby Sophie is an adorable Labrador Retriever mix puppy looking for a family to grow up with! She is at the perfect age to begin learning about the world and will thrive with a family that is ready to invest time, patience, and love into raising a happy, confident dog.

Labrador Retrievers are famous for their affectionate nature, intelligence, and enthusiasm for life. As Baby Sophie grows, she will enjoy interactive play, learning new skills, exploring alongside her family, and, of course, plenty of cuddle time after a day of puppy adventures. Labs are eager to please and respond wonderfully to positive, reward-based training.

Like all puppies, Baby Sophie is still learning everything—from potty training and basic manners to what is and is not appropriate to chew. Her forever family should be prepared for the commitment of puppyhood, including training, socialization, daily exercise, and lots of enrichment to help her reach her full potential.

Because she has not yet completed her puppy vaccinations, Baby Sophie should be kept with her paws off the ground in public places where unknown dogs may have been. Safe socialization with trusted vaccinated dogs and positive experiences in a controlled environment will help her develop into a well-rounded adult dog while keeping her healthy.

If you are ready to welcome a sweet Lab mix puppy into your home and enjoy every stage of her journey, Baby Sophie cannot wait to find her forever family.

Adoption application is available on our website: www.puppypawsrescue.org

Please note:

Pup cannot be left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. This is necessary for comfort breaks and much needed socialization for a pup this age.

For young puppies that leave unaltered:
A refundable $100 spay/neuter deposit for adopters with established spay/neuter history is required.
A refundable $200 spay/neuter deposit for adopters without spay/neuter history is required.
