Baby Shark’s FAQs

What is KY Hopeful Paws Rescue’s adoption process?

Thank you for your interest in adopting from KY Hopeful Paws. Please read the below requirements before submitting an adoption application. We will reach out to you with any questions, or if your application is approved. You must FULLY COMPLETE the adoption application. We cannot process incomplete applications. All current pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations, flea, tick, and heartworm preventative, and must be spayed or neutered. If you have extenuating health circumstances with a pet, please note on your application and provide a letter from your veterinarian with an explanation. Please note: due to the high volume of applications we receive, we cannot reach out to those whose applications are incomplete or are not approved. Please note: this application does not guarantee approval of your application or placement of a dog into your home. Some dogs will receive several applications and others only a few. We attempt to find the best-matched home for each dog. If not selected, your application will remain on file for future dogs. Please note: Our rescue is run solely by volunteers. It may be a number of weeks before you hear back regarding your application. Please be patient as we are trying to work through applications as quickly as possible. Best of luck in your search for a new companion!
