My name is Penny, and I'm a sweet little Pointer mix (best guess) with a big heart and an even bigger wiggle. I was found as a stray in rural Georgia, and when no one came to claim me, the kind folks at K-9 Lifesavers stepped in and rescued me. I may have had a rough start, but you'd never know it from my happy personality! I'm your typical friendly, loving puppy. I love other dogs, I adore people, and I'm always ready to hand out plenty of wet-nose kisses and enthusiastic butt wiggles. Making new friends is one of my favorite things! I'm also at a wonderful age for training, learning, and socializing, which means I'm ready to grow into the amazing dog I'm meant to be with a family to guide me. I just know my forever home is out there somewhere. If you're looking for a sweet, happy puppy who will fill your days with love, laughter, and lots of tail wags, then I might just be your girl.

Apply today and change this deserving girl's life forever — I promise to love you right back!

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.

Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
