Baby Girl "Baby"'s Story

Hi there, I'm Baby Girl! My foster mom calls me Baby

I may have a little gray on my face, but don't let that fool you. I still have plenty of life, love, and tail wags left to share!

When I first arrived with rescue, everyone thought I was around 12 years old, but my veterinarian isn't so sure. They say I'm in remarkably good health and might not be quite as old as originally believed. Whatever my age, I'm choosing to focus on the future and I hope that future includes you.

I've recently had a fresh start. I underwent surgery to remove several mammary tumors, and while recovery wasn't always easy, I handled it like a champ. The best news? My vet was able to remove all of the tumors, and my chest X-rays came back clear with no signs of metastasis. Even better, I'm showing everyone just how much better I feel now that those pesky tumors are gone!

These days, I'm enjoying the simple things in life. I love short walks, leisurely exploring the yard, cozy naps and spending time with my people. I'm not looking to run marathons, I prefer a slower pace and a family who appreciates life's quieter moments.

If there's one thing you should know about me, it's this: I am a professional snuggler. Belly rubs and back scritches are my absolute favorite thing on earth. I will happily roll over to collect as many as you're willing to give. I have so much love to share and am happiest when I'm close to my people.

I'm crate trained and actually love my crate. It's my little comfort cave where I can relax, feel safe, and enjoy some quiet time. I'm a low-maintenance girl who simply wants a soft place to rest, a few adventures around the neighborhood, and a family who will cherish me.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with a wagging tail, melt into your side for cuddles, and remind you to slow down and enjoy the little things, I might be your perfect match.

Sometimes life doesn't go the way we expect. I never imagined I'd find myself starting over, but now I'm choosing to believe my best chapter is still ahead of me. Maybe that's with you?

Love,
Baby Girl

Interested in a lifetime supply of cuddles and belly rubs?
