Baby Girl's Story
Note: Dogs are pack animals and do not do well away from other members of their pack. The adopter is the alpha member of the pack, and the dog or puppy needs as much one-on-one contact with the alpha as possible. For this reason, all Route 66 Rescue Inc. dogs are adopted to inside homes only. They must be on leash, or inside a secure fence when outside, and not left outside alone when no one is home. Invisible fencing does not qualify as protection since other animals and strangers have access to the dog. The dogs must be returned to Route 66 Rescue, Inc. if ever given up by the adopter. Thank you for understanding we want only the best for the dogs you give a forever home.

Baby Girl is looking for a forever home after her dad, a hospice patient had to go to a care facility where his dog cannot go. This beloved little dog, named Baby Girl, is a darling nine lb. Chi/JRT mix that is about nine years old. Baby Girl will need an understanding new family and is especially looking for an available lap. She is definitely a lap girl.

Baby Girl gets along with other dogs, but would much prefer to be the main attraction. She has spent her life with adults, but is gentle with children that know how to treat an older dog. She does not like cats or squirrels.

If you would like to meet Baby Girl, please email route66rescue@yahoo.com for an adoption application. Her adoption fee is $200 which includes her vaccinations, worming, heartworm test, microchip, and dental. Thank you for visiting our site. Please come back often.
