Baby's Story

Baby is a 3-year-old Golden Doodle who is truly the definition of a glow-up story. She was surrendered to a city shelter in extremely poor condition—severely matted and underweight—but has made incredible progress in rescue care.<br/><br/>Since coming into our program, Baby has been on a structured weight gain plan and is doing very well. She has already come a long way and is now at a point where she is stable, healthy, and ready to transition into a foster or foster-to-adopt home while she continues to reach her ideal weight and completes her spay.<br/><br/>Baby is a sweet, gentle girl who thrives on human companionship. She is affectionate, loyal, and enjoys being close to her people—she would do best in a home where she can continue building confidence and receiving consistent care.

Forgotten Paws's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best match between pets and families. It starts with an online application, followed by a review of references and (if applicable) landlord approval. We then arrange a meet-and-greet or home visit to make sure everyone is comfortable. Once approved, adopters sign an adoption agreement, pay an adoption fee (which helps cover vetting and care), and take their new pet home knowing it’s been fully vetted and loved. We’re here to support adopters before, during, and after adoption to set everyone up for success.
