**Baby ended up back at the shelter because her owner passed away. Please help make her second stay a short one.<br/><br/>Baby was originally surrendered to the shelter. She ended up back with us when her adopter passed away. She is happiest lounging on the couch and soaking up the comforts of home life. She has lived with dogs, cats, and kids and does well with all of them. Her easygoing, adaptable nature means she should fit in just about any home. She is housebroken, but the longer she has to wait for a family, the better chance she will have to relearn that. The Humane Society of Clinton County, Indiana's Adoption Policy
We require a "foster to adopt" program for all adopters, whether it be that the pet that you are interested in still has some medical work up to be done or whether we just want to give the pet time to adjust. An application is required to be filled out at the time of adoption. No appointment required to visit the animals during open hours. Upon finalizing adoption, each pet is current on vaccinations, altered, microchipped, FeLV/FIV test and/or heartworm tested. All animals over 7 years of age will have bloodwork performed at the vet. All known medical issues will be taken care of at the vet prior to finalizing adoption (dental cleanings, hernia repairs, mass removals, etc.).
