Babette's Story

Babette is a prim and proper little girl searching for her forever home. She is approximately 3 or 4 years old - she came from a puppy mill so her exact age is unknown.

Babette came to us severely matted and shut down. While she has come leaps and bounds from where she was initially, she is still very timid and learning how to live life as a free pup. This sweet girl will need time, patience and love, but will make a great companion. Babette will need a home with a fenced in yard, because being on a leash is still very scary for her. A calmer home that doesn't have a lot of scary sounds or sudden movements is also required. She is not a cuddle bug (and is still scared of receiving love), but wants to have her humans within sight. Her wagging tail could power a small city, and she gets tippy tap level excited when her foster mama comes home.

She enjoys going to her pen when she needs some time and space, and while she has mastered going up stairs, going down is very overwhelming for her. Babette does still have accidents (especially as she learns what the different types of weather are!) but she does well on a schedule.

If you have it in your heart to give this sweet girl the time and love to help her blossom, apply today!

Babette's adoption fee is $600, which includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.

If you think she may be perfect for you, please apply using the link below!

https://www.cognitoforms.com/NorthPawRescue/NorthPawRescueDogAdoptionApplication

**Unfortunately, we cannot adopt out to Canada at this time.

**We require a 60 minute adoption radius.
