She's been around big dogs, little dogs, children, and cats. She's a clever pup, she thinks things through before diving in. According to a DNA test on one of her siblings, Dad must have been an Aussie or Aussie mix. Momma is as sweet as can be, blue heeler mix! She is super friendly, loves kids, loves other dogs, and learns things quickly! Babe Ruth should turn out with a dynamite temperament like her mom. Plus, both Aussies and blue heelers are known to be smart breeds. Babe Ruth has had her first round of shots, has been dewormed, and microchipped. BRBCR’s approval process includes phone interviews, reference checks, and a home visit prior to meeting a foster dog. Approved applicants must meet at the foster dog’s location. Every adoption begins with a 2-week trial period. Babe Ruth's adoption fee is $350. Since she too young to be altered at this time, the Adoption Contract will include a Spay/Neuter Agreement which requires a deposit of $150 (to be refunded when veterinary proof of alteration has been provided). Blue Ridge Border Collie Rescue's Adoption Policy

BRBCR's adoption process requires that each of the following steps are successfully completed before meeting one of our foster dogs. The approval process typically takes 1 - 2 weeks. 1. Contact the foster parent of the dog that you are interested in to request an adoption application. 2. Fill out an adoption application on our website OR email a completed adoption application to brbcrdogs@gmail.com. 3. A BRBCR volunteer will conduct a phone interview with the applicant and the applicant's veterinarian and personal references. 4. A BRBCR volunteer will conduct a home visit with the applicant. Upon approval, the foster parent will set up a Meet and Greet for the applicant. If the Meet and Greet is successful, then the applicant will be able to take the BRBCR dog home for a 2-week trial period. If the trial period is successful, the adoption becomes official.
