Babe's Story

Meet Babe!

This 37lb, 7-year-old, Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi mix is looking for a fresh start after being surrendered through no fault of her own. This lovely girl has spent her life in a home and comes with some great manners. She’s both house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to the right household.

Babe has a medium energy level, enjoying a nice balance of activity and relaxation. She’s happiest spending time with her people, whether that’s going for a walk or lounging nearby. While she’s a loyal companion, Babe would do best as the only pet in the home, as she isn’t comfortable around other dogs. She’s also looking for an adult-only home, since she doesn’t do well around children.

Like many dogs, Babe isn’t a fan of vet visits or grooming, so she’ll need a patient and understanding owner who can help her feel safe and supported during those times.

Babe’s ideal home is a calm, predictable environment where she can truly relax and be herself. In return, she’ll offer quiet companionship and devotion to her person. If you’re looking for a mature dog who already knows the ropes and just needs a second chance, Babe might be your perfect match.

We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only.
