Mystery Mix<br/><br/>Her name is Beauty, and frankly, whoever named her understood the assignment.<br/><br/>Beauty is a petite 25lb princess who seems to believe she was born to be photographed, adored and carried around by tall men. We have supporting evidence. She has a particular weakness for our tall vet techs and will happily melt right into their arms.<br/><br/>She's sweet, calm, affectionate and loves people. Beauty has lovely manners, listens beautifully and is perfectly content soaking up attention, which is appropriate because, in her mind, she is obviously the star of the show.<br/><br/>Beauty is also Joes mom, although at around two years old herself, she was basically just a baby raising a baby. Those days are behind her now. She's spayed, vaccinated and ready for somebody else to take over the important work of spoiling her.<br/><br/>Breed? Mystery mix. We're not even going to pretend we know what went into making this little black princess.<br/><br/>What we do know is that Beauty is ready for the good part: a home, her own people, plenty of affection and preferably someone willing to remind her regularly that she is, indeed, very pretty.<br/><br/>Beauty has already done the mom thing. Now it's her turn to be the baby.<br/><br/>Shelter staff informs: <br/>While we can't guarantee that this dog is 100% house trained, it is a very clean dog that spends days in a big outdoor run and nights in sleeping quarters. We also find no bedtime accidents in the morning. We do not know for certain how this dog would do living with children, as we do not know if it ever lived in a home environment with kids yet. However, this dog has not shown aggression toward any humans, of any age, at the shelter. As with any dog, we always recommend careful supervision and slow responsible introductions and interactions when children are involved.
