My name is Special... or Azzurro. But you can just call me your new best fur-end! I'm a bit picky; I only like male dogs, and I'm not fond of kids. They can be a bit much for me... I prefer a calm and loving environment. Sometimes it takes me a minute to warm up to new people, but once I do, we're buddies fur-ever. You should feel "special" if I choose you. I love to play and roughhouse, so someone big and strong would be perfect for me. I've been here for 2 years, which is basically half my life. I'm heartworm negative, up to date on everything, and I've already been spayed. Thanks for your interest in adopting a pet from the Florence Area Humane Society! Please complete an online pre-adoption application at www.florencehumanesociety.org/adopt. All applications are reviewed by a FAHS team member and approved applications are notified by the reviewer. Approved applicants will be asked to come to the shelter facility, meet the pet, and complete the adoption paperwork. Our shelter is open to the public Tuesday- Saturday 12-5.
