Azul's Story

Azul was adopted from CVHS as a puppy, and has come back to us because she was escaping her fence, and going after the neighbor's chickens. She is now looking for a home without any chickens or cats nearby.

Azul is a bit shy with people initially, but once she knows that you are safe and kind, she warms right up, and will happily accept pets and belly rubs. She loves a good game of fetch, and is treat motivated, so training with this girl is a pleasure. She's very attentive, and eager to please. She has done well with children of all ages. In her previous home she slept in her crate at night, and her crate is here to go with her to her new home.

In her previous home she played with two large male dogs, and kept up with their rough play style. She has not met any smaller dogs.

A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Azul's $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about her, and to determine if you should meet Azul.
