Azalea's Story
Foster Update April 13th:
Meet this bright and beautiful 4-month-old Husky/Shepherd mix who is already proving to be a superstar in the making!

This smart girl is incredibly quick to learn—she picked up “sit,” “lay down,” and even “shake hands” in just one week! She’s eager to please and thrives on positive attention, making her a dream for anyone looking for a trainable and responsive companion. She’s currently working on house training and learning to walk nicely on a leash by your side, and she’s making great progress every day.

Like most puppies her age, she’s teething, so she absolutely loves both hard and soft dog toys to keep her busy and happy. Providing her with plenty of chew options will help her stay content and continue developing good habits.

She’s a social butterfly who adores kids and enjoys playing with other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to an active family or a home with furry siblings. Above all, she loves love—cuddles, attention, and being part of the action are her favorite things.

She’s already settling into a nice routine and is ready to keep learning and growing with her forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate pup to join your life, this sweet girl could be the perfect match!

Azalea is currently 34 pounds, healthy, and thriving! She received Sentinel Spectrum on 3/22 when we first picked her up. On 3/26/26, she was seen at Snipwell, where she received her rabies, bordetella, and DAPP vaccines. At that time, she weighed 26 pounds. Since being dewormed, she has tested negative for all worms and has been steadily gaining weight—now up to 34 pounds and growing.

She is a wonderful puppy with a great temperament. Azalea loves playing with other dogs and does very well with kids. She is incredibly smart and eager to learn—within just one week, she mastered “sit,” “lay down,” and “shake hands.” We are currently working on leash training so she can walk nicely at our side, with the goal of eventually transitioning to off-leash skills.

She is crate trained and has been settling into a consistent routine. We are still working on house training, which is progressing as she adjusts to her crate schedule while I’m at work.

Azalea is very affectionate and loves being close to her people—she’s a little shadow who will happily follow you around for attention and cuddles. She loves playing with other dogs and does well with kids of all ages.

Azalea is a beautiful young female husky puppy who also was a stray. Huskys are notorious escape artists so we are requiring fenced yards for our huskys. Knowledge of the breed helps a lot also. She is a beautiful sweet soul with a lot of puppy mischievous loving to share. Good with dogs and kids and is crate and leash trained and working on housebreaking. Smart little girl.

Please apply to adopt Azalea at www.peanutsplacerescue.org click application scroll down it’ll appear. Text 7046509653 if already approved.

Adoption fee: $450
