Hello , my name is AXEL and I would like to tell you about myself<br/><br/>I am a 3-year-old, neutered, miniature Parti-Poodle that means that I have a two-tone black and white coat and one-hundred percent poodle. I am up to date with all my vaccines, microchipped, heartworm and fecal negative, and I am on heartworm prevention. <br/><br/>I have settled into foster care very well after my foster mom worked very hard to bring me out of being so shy. I am completely house trained and never crated. I sleep close to my foster mom, so I feel safe. I weigh about 24 pounds, and I am a picky eater. My foster mom discovered that I prefer dry food, topped with wet.<br/><br/>My foster mom says that I am a very sweet and an extremely shy boy. I was rescued with 5 other poodles from a breeder who is moving and no longer going to breed poodles. Coastal Poodle Rescue is looking for a family who will give me plenty of room and a lot of time to adjust. I love to play with lots of toys and other dogs, and I have excellent recall. I would prefer a totally above ground fenced yard, but my foster mom says I walk well on a leash <br/><br/>I get along well with other dogs; I`m also OK with cats; I ignore them. I would be OK with children, but I really need a human who can be at home with me most of the day. I really LOVE to play with toys! I will take all of them out of the toy box and put them in my bed.
