Axel's Story
Axel just lost his adopted home because of a death in the family. Unfortunately, there was no one to take care of him so he is back at the ranch and waiting for another chance. He is a big guy and clearly gorgeous, about 3 1/2 yearas old, has some training and he is well behaved in the house. Axel is good with other dogs and lived with cats in his previous home but he absolutely lives for the attention from his people. The problem is that Axel doesn't handle being left alone very well so he cries and for a big guy, he is surprisingly agile and able to jump a 6ft fence. The good news is that he settles down nicely in a crate so he would be best in a home where people are able to be home often enough so he can be contained in a crate when left alone. He also can be protective of his home and insecure when strangers invade so a quieter home would be ideal, without a lot of people coming in and out.
