Meet Awilda. She deserves a second chance.<br/><br/>Awilda is a beautiful 2 to 3 year old, 35 to 40 lb spayed girl who has fallen on hard times. Through no fault of her own, she has ended up in a crowded shelter in Puerto Rico, where her chances of finding a loving home are heartbreakingly small.<br/><br/>Sadly, black dogs are often overlooked in shelters. We don't know why, but we do know that Awilda deserves to be seen, to be chosen, and to be loved.<br/><br/>Awilda is a smart girl who knows what it means to be cared for. Somewhere along the way, life took a difficult turn, and now she needs someone willing to give her another chance.<br/><br/>Puerto Rico has so many wonderful dogs and far too few loving homes.
