She’s playful, affectionate, and always ready for adventure or a cuddle.<br/><br/>Avery came into rescue after she and her siblings were found abandoned in a Dallas neighborhood. Now safe in CRT foster care, she’s thriving and showing off her happy, loving personality.<br/><br/>In her foster home, Avery enjoys playing with other dogs, zooming around the yard, and chasing her favorite squeaky toys. She’s also a big cuddle bug who loves attention and will happily follow you around to be part of whatever you’re doing.<br/><br/>Avery is smart, confident, and eager to please. She is almost fully housetrained, uses potty pads as needed, is crate trained, and is learning leash skills. Like any puppy, she will need continued training.<br/><br/>She is about 6 months old (as of April), weighs around 10 pounds, and is expected to stay under 15 pounds. She has a beautiful dark chocolate coat, a cute underbite, and adorable ears. We did a DNA test on her and her results are as follows: 69% Chihuahua, 7% Yorkshire Terrier, 6% Shih Tzu, 4% Pomeranian, 4% Pekingese, 3% Poodle (Toy and Miniature), 2% Dachshund, 2% Papillon and 1% Bichon Frise! And we will add that she is 100% adorable!<br/><br/>Avery would do best in an active home ready for the commitment of a puppy. She would love another playful dog companion and needs a family who is home regularly. Because she can be vocal, an apartment may not be the best fit.<br/><br/>As a young pup with many years ahead, Avery is looking for a forever family to share the next 15–20 years of love and companionship.<br/><br/>Adoption Details:<br/><br/>Avery is being fostered in the Dallas-Fort Worth (Texas) area. She is ready for adoption!<br/><br/>This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $350.00 adoption donation required.<br/><br/>As part of our mission to reduce the number of unwanted and sick dogs, we require that all current pets are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and taking heart worm prevention.
