Avery's Story

Meet Avery, part of our Charlotte’s Web litter! Charlotte, their Mom, is a purebred Doberman and we are unsure what Dad was. We do have a DNA test out on one of the puppies. Avery and his siblings came to us at 5 days old after being found outside and ending up at a high kill shelter. We estimate their birthday to be January 5, 2026!

While these pups had a ruff start, they have had a fantastic foundation. They have been with a professional trainer since they have arrived into rescue. They have been weaned off Charlotte and are fully transitioned to water soaked kibble. They have all started their crate training, have been sleeping in their crates overnight since 6 weeks and while they have some accidents, do understand to go potty outside. All pups have been socialized with children and their paws, ears, and mouths played with. We have loved watching these pups grow up however now it’s time for them to find a home of their own.

Avery has a sweet temperament and loves to cuddle. He truly lives up to the Velcro dog title. Being a velcro pup, means continuing his crate training will be critical for his success. Avery is a playful pup who would do best in a home with someone that has working dog experience. Being half Doberman, he is very intelligent and catches on quickly!

He will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines at adoption. If you are interested in adopting, please apply on our website www.pawsitiverescuedivision.com.
** We are not able to adopt to Massachusetts residents**
** No apartments due to the size and energy requirements for these puppies**
