She had been living loose and unspayed, and when it became clear she was pregnant, the decision was made to surrender her rather than have her killed. Mom is a Collie–Australian Shepherd mix, and the dad is suspected to be a Labrador Retriever. She gave birth safely in the comfort of our care and was a wonderful, attentive mother. The puppies have been raised with love and proper care from the very beginning and are now healthy, happy, and ready to go to their forever homes. Mom has since been spayed and adopted into a loving home of her own. Now it’s these pups’ turn to find families who will give them the safe, loving future they deserve. 🐾💛
