What is Innocent Angels Sanctuary’s adoption process?

Once a potential adopter has visited our shelter or seen us at an off-site adoption event and have settled on a pet, they fill out an adoption application. One of our staff or volunteers look over the application and ask potential adopters for any additional clarification about their answers. If all looks good, the application is approved and the adopters fill out the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Following the adoption, the new pet owners are given a goodie bag that includes the pets' microchip information and how to register the microchip, a container of food to transition the pet to any new food, a voucher for a free virtual training class or consultation by our dog trainer (for dogs), a toy, and the complete veterinary records of the pet to date.
