Meet Ava!<br/><br/>Ava is a female, 10 year old, Havanese/ Shih Tzu mix. When she came into our rescue she was heavily matted and had to be shaved. We attached her intake photo so potential adopter(s) can have an idea of what her coat will look like once it is grown back. <br/><br/>Ava is a very sweet, laid back, and loving girl. She loves to be by her persons side! She is house trained. She does not need to be crated as she is not destructive nor does she have accidents if kept on a routine schedule. <br/><br/>She is looking for a laid back home where she can flourish in her golden years. She does well with dogs of all sizes and is fine with children who respect boundaries. She has not been cat tested. <br/><br/>This girl we need to be kept on a routine grooming schedule and will require daily brushing to ensure her coat does not get matted. Most importantly she will need an adopter that will be strict with her diet as she needs to lose several pounds.. Short walks would be pawsome as she walks well on a leash. <br/><br/>This sweetheart would thrive in any home that would be her FUREVER. Although, she would love if you were home more often than you are gone. She deserves her forever person and a quiet life where she is cherished and loved for all the amazing years to come! <br/><br/>A secure fenced in yard is required.
