While she’s still a timid girl, her soft personality is starting to shine.

In her foster home, Ava is learning the daily routine, greeting her person with a wagging tail, and enjoying peaceful moments at home. She’s a quiet companion who prefers calm environments and slow introductions. She’s not interested in toys yet, but she enjoys quiet leash walks when things aren’t too busy. She’s mostly pottying outside, though she’s still learning, and she can be a bit picky with food.

Ava does well with other dogs and especially benefits from the presence of a confident, similarly sized companion to help her feel safe.

Ava is looking for a patient adopter who will let her move at her own pace and continue building her confidence.
