But don't let her independent streak fool you—she still melts for belly rubs, snuggles, and spending time with her favorite people. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Ava is a smart cookie who is doing an amazing job with potty-training and is picking up her basic puppy skills quickly. She loves other dogs, adores kids, and is very curious about the cat... although she's learning that the cat prefers to be admired from a respectful distance! <br/><br/> <br/><br/> If you're looking for a fun, fearless, and affectionate companion who's eager to learn and ready for life's next adventure, Ava can't WAIT to meet you! <br/><br/> <br/><br/>The “A” List Litter pups will be 8 weeks old on July 26th. We believe they may be a Lab/Pit Bull mix, though their dad is unknown. Their sweet mama, Daisey, weighs only about 40 pounds and has the most incredible personality—and these puppies are proving to be just like her! They are from Quinhagak. Daisey was a good momma and raised up her puppies. She has now been spayed (through our Spay-it-Forward program) and is headed back to her family that loves and misses her! <br/><br/> <br/><br/>FOSTER-TO-ADOPT:<br/><br/>KPAL Rescue dogs are vetted (spayed/neutered, age-appropriately vaccinated for Parvo/Distemper, Rabies if old enough, microchipped, etc.).
