Because of that, sometimes it takes me a moment to warm up to new people and situations. But once I do, I love affection and being close to my people.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>I've lived with other dogs before but may be dog-selective. I'd probably do best with a male dog close to my size with proper introductions & I'm good with kids.<br/><br/>Because I'm a natural protector & hunter who didn't get much socialization, I need a home without small animals (no small dogs, cats, or small critters of any kind - and none close by!)<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Because I'm a strong, powerful breed, I need an experienced owner who understands owning a dog like me comes with great responsibility (but boy, am I worth it!) A secure, fenced yard is strongly preferred to help keep everyone safe.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>I may not be for everyone — but for the right home, I'll be a loyal, loving companion who bonds deeply and loves hard.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Spayed, Heartworm Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is FULLY SPONSORED!<br/><br/>Ava did test postitive for Lyme disease and on her month long treatment of Doxycycline for treatment. She will have been given a Lyme Vaccine and should receive one yearly at her vet appointments. If it's a match, you can take home on the same day.
