Ava is a 7-month-old Chihuahua/Pug mix weighing a tiny 8½ pounds. This little girl may be small, but her heart is huge! Ava absolutely loves other dogs, adores children, and is very friendly with people. She also does well with cats. Ava gets very excited when someone wants to pick her up and shower her with love—she’s still learning to contain her excitement, but she has come a long way and continues to improve every day. She is doing great with house training as long as she’s taken out frequently, and she does wonderfully in her kennel. Because Ava thrives around other dogs and gains confidence by following their lead, we prefer a home with other playful dogs for her to learn from and enjoy.
