What is Washington City Animal Shelter’s adoption process?

First we ensure the adopters have financial and physical means to care for an animal. We then let the adopter meet their potential pet to observe the interaction while discussing the finite details of that animal and/or breed. If everything works out we will send the adopter home with their new best friend! We do what we can to ensure the pairing is the best match for the person and the animal.

What is Autumn’s adoption fee?

Is Autumn good with kids?

Autumn is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Autumn good with other animals?

Autumn is good with other dogs. It is not known if Autumn is good with cats.

When can I meet Autumn?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Autumn?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
