Autumn came to the shelter pregnant, emaciated and scared (two of the pics shown). She recovered, her pups all got homes, and she is now a happy girl at a healthy weight (primary pic) waiting for her own home. A very sweet, gentle girl, Autumn loves people and gets along with polite male dogs. She is crate trained and housetrained if kept on a schedule. Autumn requires a male dog for company and a fenced yard. She likes to play with toys. She would be most comfortable with children 8 years of age or older. The first step is to print, fill out and submit an application, available at http://capp-petplacement.org/adopt/ Adoption fee: $150 payable at the time of the three-week trial placement.

Some of our general policies: 1) We foster dogs in our own homes, so they can be seen BY APPOINTMENT TO APPROVED APPLICANTS ONLY.
