He would do best in a home without cats, birds, or other small pets, and he’ll require a secure 6-foot fence to keep him safe.<br/><br/>Currently, Austin is living in a kennel. While this is a step up from the shelter, it’s still a stressful environment—surrounded by many other dogs with limited time to play and relax in a yard. Austin would thrive with more freedom, regular exercise, and the comfort of a home.<br/><br/>Austin was found running loose in Taos after having been adopted from us many years ago. He returned to the rescue in 2023 and has been waiting patiently at the kennel ever since.
