Aurora's Story

Hi, I’m Aurora! I’m a 3-year-old female Husky weighing about 50 pounds, and I made my way north from a high-kill shelter down south for a second chance at the life I deserve. Now I’m settling into my foster home in Battle Creek, Michigan, and I’m ready to find my forever family!

I’m an incredibly sweet, friendly girl who absolutely loves meeting new people. The first time we meet, I will gently walk right up and gently put my paws on your hands like I am saying hello—and honestly, that pretty much sums me up. I’m affectionate, easygoing, and love being around my humans. I’ve done great with the dogs I’ve met and have wonderful manners around the house—I keep my space tidy and don’t feel the need to chew things I shouldn’t.

I’m also a smart girl! I walk beautifully on a leash without pulling, know my basic commands, and I’m very treat motivated (peanut butter and puzzle toys are my favorites). I’d love a home where I can keep learning, go on adventures, and then come back for cuddles and downtime. I would absolutely love the freedom of a fully fenced yard.

I’m fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered companion who’s equal parts fun and sweet, I just might be your perfect match.

Please apply to adopt me here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/63adcb00cb896f59b74103d2/69a23a20ac1975cc7b0e46bc
———

If interested, please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder.
