Aunt Trixie needs foster

SEEKING FOSTER: <br/><br/>AUNT TRIXIE is a sweet and affectionate 1.5 year old Blue Heeler cross pooch who weighs just over 40#. She came to rescue with an old healed broken leg and broken pelvis, likely from being hit by a car. There are bone fragments moving around and she has pain and limitations on her movements. She needs surgery on the femur and a quiet place to recover and regain her strength. Trixie is sociable and very playful. She can’t stop herself from playing with the other young dogs in her foster home. That is not conducive to good healing. We don’t want to completely confine her to a crate, so we hope to find a foster home without an active dog who is willing to care for her during her recovery.
