Augustus's Story

Augustus is a sweet but shy husky mix who is about a year and a half old. He came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his life before coming to us, but we have noticed a few little quirks about this lovely guy: sudden movements in his direction often scare him, and it takes some time for him to warm up to new people. He does well with staff members that he is used to, but can be very nervous when people he doesn't know try to approach him. He's shy in his kennel, but gets the zoomies when he's out in the yards. Augustus loves to dig, play fetch, and run circles around you. If you're looking for a companion for outdoor activities such as walks or hikes, Augustus just might be the perfect guy for you!
