August's Story
Meet August, a 2 yr old spotted male, perhaps a pointer or dalmatian mix. The shelter listed him as a shepherd mix but he clearly has spots. August is a nice friendly boy, shy as many rescue dogs can be but happy to see those he knows. He is on the larger size, approximately 65 lbs. He is currently bunking with Savannah and they get along very well together as you can see from the photos. They just play play play! He is learning his leash manners, but could no doubt use more training and walking experience. Given his size, he would be best with dog experienced owners and no young children. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and ready to go home as soon as the right family applies. Perhaps it will be yours.

If you are interested in meeting August, please email us at dalrescue@sbcglobal.net, tell us you are interested in August and we will send you an adoption application. Once the application is completed and returned, and if it looks like August might be a good fit for your family, arrangements can be quickly made for a "meet and greet" where you come with your family and other dog, if any, to meet August and see how everyone gets along. We know the right family is out there for August, we just need to help him find it.

To learn more about Dalmatian Rescue of Southern California, Inc., a 501c non profit charity, and to see all of our available dogs, please visit our website at www.dalrescuesocal.com.
