Audrey's Story

We found this young pup on the euthanasia list at an overflowing shelter, which got her as a stray. Not wanting to have Audrey put to sleep, we made the trip down to Kern County and pulled her into our rescue.

Audrey is a 4-month-old beagle and German Shepherd mix. She is black and tan, with an adorable face and ears and long beagle nose. Audrey is 21 pounds. She is spayed, has all of her shots, and is microchipped.

Audrey is good with other dogs. Sometimes, she wants to play more or differently than them, but usually listens if they tell her no. She is a soft bundle of puppy energy who wants to play, gets hugs and pets, have treats, and get belly rubs. Yet, she is not overactive and is pretty well-behaved for her young age. Audrey likes to be close and chew on things, like a puppy will do (including shoes!). She will need training.

While Audrey has been through a lot in her young life, we are fortunate to have her in our rescue, where she can find a permanent home for a long life of happiness.

If you are interested in Audrey, please contact Eva at 916-803-4935 or norcalbeagles@gmail.com
