Audie

Audie is handsome hound mix puppy about 9-10 months old, 40-45lbs. Like any puppy, Audie loves to play with other pups and get love from his foster mom. <br/><br/>Audie is still gaining confidence after being surrendered to a kill shelter, but he is getting better every day. We believe Audie’s best family match would be one that wants to give him a lot of love and acknowledgement. One that can be dedicated to growing his confidence with positive reinforcement, rewards and training. <br/><br/>Audie is a follower, not a leader, and while not alone often, we believe he could come around to being an only dog with a family that has plenty of time to share with him, but as a follower, he may come around faster in a home with a dog he can learn from. <br/><br/>Audie is house trained with a doggy door and crate trained. Audie has lived with cats, but not in close quarters so we are not 100% sure he is good with cats, but he has always been gentle with other dogs so we assume he would be okay with dog savvy cats. <br/><br/>Audie’s mother was a blue tick hound, so we know he is part hound.
