AUDI's Story
We take the time to post pertinent information about our dogs and that information can be found below. Our dogs are fostered in homes so we know them well. If it appears you would be interested in one of our dogs and you fit the requirements for that dog, please go to our website - www.enchantmutts.org and complete an application. The application form is found under Adoptable Dogs - Adoption Process at www.enchantmutts.org. When the application is complete - you can submit it to info@enchantmutts.org. We will contact you when the application has been reviewed. Thank you.

Meet AUDI – this sweet boy came to rescue from an “accidental breeding”. He lived the first 4 months in a backyard with his parents and his siblings. Not much interaction or independence but those days are over! From a shy tot doing his best in a wave of sharks to an outgoing warrior who is gaining more confidence every day – AUDI is on the hunt for an active – working dog savvy family!

AUDI is an Australian Shepherd (with tail) and both his parents are black-bi’s as he is. His DOB is April 2025 so all the mischievous puppiness is right there on display! He should top out at about 40 lbs when grown and he has come forward leaps and bounds in his time in rescue. He is going to be quite the boy!

AUDI is a puppy. He is all puppy and does everything you would expect a young pup to do. He will chew your favorite shoes, nibble on your sofa, and leave unwanted holes in your remote. Don't worry; he will do all of this with a smile on his face (and it will eventually pass as he grows up)… I mean, if you left those items where he could get them, shame on you... AUDI is a fast learner and very willing to do his best. Initially he was unsure but is gaining more confidence every day - turning into a happy, playful, cuddly kiddo – very delightful!

AUDI is a smart fella and learned the doggy door on day one – he is also going to be incredibly athletic – yep – he can jump a large bush in a single bound and uses furniture as a trampoline if you let him. He is almost potty trained – just forgets sometimes when he is having fun. He is crate trained and with a bit of protesting will chill out when he is in there especially with a toy or chew toy. Smart, sweet and ready to rumble! Takes direction very well and likes to please.

AUDI will need another active dog in the house to play with and teach him how to DOG. He is coming into his own, gaining confidence and learning from his foster siblings (and his sister ESME). He is taking criticism well and learning respect for his “elders” – he will excel with training and direction. Know he is an active boy and will need lots of stimulation (physical and mental) to be all he can be. As far as little humans in the house none under ten please. Cats are an unknown.

AUDI looking for a Forever home that will guide him and help him learn how to be a good boy and live his best life with a family to call his own. He needs a family who is active and has experience with working dogs. AUDI’s favorite position is on his back, on a lap, getting his belly scratched and his potential is HUGE!

AUDI has had his series of puppy shots, started on heartworm prevention, wormed, micro chipped and will be neutered and receive his rabies mid-October 2025. He is available to the right home prior to his neuter with a puppy contract (included in the adoption fee) as we do not neuter before six months. He is at that prime bonding age so he needs his peeps.

AUDI needs a home with people who are capable of handling a smart, active dog and who have a fenced yard and a dedication to long walks/jogs. He must also have a canine companion in the house (or you will be exhausted). He will be an excellent hiking companion and his obedience and/or agility prospects are endless. His people must have experience with working dogs. If you think you have it in you to have a potential STUD MUFFIN in your family, please complete an application (at the adoption process button above) and submit to info@enchantmutts.org

Sorry - AUDI WILL NOT be adopted out of the state of New Mexico.
