My name is Atticus and I may look like a big dog in my photos but I’m still just a puppy–growing like a weed with big ol floppy feet to boot. <br/><br/>I love to do puppy things like run in circles outside to try to catch these weird crusty things that fall from the trees and taste like dirt. My foster mom calls them “leaves”? I guess I’ll just have to trust her on that cuz “leave” to me means car rides and those are ahhhhmazing!!<br/><br/>Toys are the bestest thing in the house. Every morning my foster mom sets out this big box of toys full to the brim. And all day I take a toy out, one by one, and play with it for a bit then leave it on the floor so mom knows exactly where I’ve been all day. And then after playing all day I’m absolutely pooped and love to snuggle up and take a good long nap.<br/><br/>Being with people is so fun. I like big people, small people and everyone in between. I’ve been with cats, ducks and even chickens and don’t seem to give a hoot about any of them one way or another. <br/><br/>I’m working on my leash skills (still a puppy, remember?) but I know “Sit” and “Go to your kennel” which makes my foster mom really happy cuz she says those are helpful when I go to my new family. <br/><br/>Potty training is almost done. I heard somewhere that I’m like 85% of the way there. I think that’s pretty good and my goal is to get to 100% cuz that makes everyone happy and I really love to make people feel good.<br/><br/>I really don’t see any reasons why I wouldn’t make a great pet for someone.
