He was treated for hypothyroidism in 2025, which responded beautifully to medication—his thyroid levels normalized, and medication was discontinued. The condition had caused some hair loss that improved significantly once treated. Atom also has a grade 3 heart murmur (early-stage mitral valve disease, MMVD Stage B1). His vet has evaluated his heart and determined he does not need medication at this time, though regular monitoring is recommended.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>You don't have to wait for an adoption event.
