Atlas's Story

Adoption Profile: Atlas
6 Weeks Old Male Hound Mix Under 10 lbs
Meet Atlas, a handsome little hound mix puppy with a striking white coat accented by brown and black patches. This sweet boy may be a little shy at first, but underneath that cautious exterior is a loving, playful puppy who is learning that people can be kind and the world can be a safe place. Atlas came into rescue after being abandoned, but he hasn't let his rough start define him. Each day, he grows more confident as he learns to socialize, trust others, and enjoy all the fun that puppyhood has to offer.
At just 6 weeks old, Atlas weighs under 10 pounds. While there is no way to know exactly how large he will be as an adult, we estimate he may reach around 30 pounds when fully grown. He is eating well, growing appropriately, and making great progress as he develops into a happy, healthy puppy.
Like all young puppies, Atlas is still learning the basics of house training and daily routines. His future family will need to be committed to continuing his training, socialization, and positive life experiences. The time and patience invested now will help Atlas grow into a confident and well-adjusted companion.
As a hound mix, Atlas's future family should understand the characteristics often found in hound breeds. Hounds are known for being intelligent, curious, active, and driven by their noses. They thrive when given regular exercise, mental stimulation, structure, and opportunities to be part of family life.
Atlas may have started life abandoned, but his future is full of possibility. He is searching for a forever family that will provide the love, guidance, and commitment he deserves as he grows from a shy little puppy into a loyal lifelong companion.
From abandoned to adoptedAtlas is ready for his next chapter. Could it be with you?
Atlass adoption fee is $395. This includes all vaccinations, microchip, and neuter at 6 months. Neuter will be scheduled at my vet, or $125 towards your vet. Neuter is required.
If interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application form. https://forms.gle/JJ6CsmN91ta2XKQC7
