Behavior Assessment – Atlas<br/><br/>Atlas demonstrated generally positive responses throughout the assessment. When excited, he may jump with intensity and engage in mouthing behavior that can apply light pressure and occasionally cause minor scratches; however, this behavior appears playful and was easily redirected with a toy. Due to his energy level, he may be overwhelming for small children if not properly managed. Atlas would benefit from basic obedience training, structured play, and desensitization to high-energy interactions with people. Overall, he presented as friendly with both people and other dogs and may be a suitable candidate for adoption in a home prepared to provide continued guidance and structure.
