Atlas's Story

Atlas
Male
D.O.B. 4/1/26
Estimated Full Grown Weight: 40-45 lbs lbs
Breed: Mixed Breed

Hi, I'm Atlas! I'm a strong, smart, and cuddly puppy with a sweet heart and a lovable personality. I can be a little timid at first in new situations and when meeting new people, and I may bark to pretend I'm tougher than I feel. Since I'm still young, I'm learning all the important puppy things like crate training, potty training — I'm getting so close to no accidents — and walking on a leash, though my foster mom says I'm already a natural! I'm crate trained, sleep pretty well through the night, and do well in my crate for short periods during the day when my foster mom needs to leave for a little while. I get along well with other dogs, kids, and cats. I have normal puppy energy, but I'm pretty chill for my age and I listen well during training. In fact, on my first walk, it only took me half a mile to figure out the harness! My foster mom calls me a chameleon because I'm pretty much up for whatever you're up for. Want to take a nap? I'm in. Want to go play in the yard? Sounds great. Take a walk? Yes, please! I love to nap, cuddle, and follow my foster sisters and foster mom around. When we're outside in the yard, I like to keep her in view so I always know where my person is. I love my mini tennis ball, squeaky toys, and, most of all, treats — including mini cucumbers! I'm very food motivated, so with consistency and encouragement, the final stages of my training should be a breeze. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, playful puppy who's equal parts fun and snuggly, I might just be your guy. If you are interested in meeting Atlas, apply to adopt him at www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $395. Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 or older
