Atlas's Story

Hey there, thanks for checking me out. I am Atlas (meaning "to endure").
In my short life I have endured a few things. My first pet parents got me as a pup and decided a few months ago that they were not home enough to care for me and give me the time I deserve. They rehomed me to a neighbor, who had an elderly smaller dog. The neighbor and her smaller dog were not prepared for a younger guy with energy. So, she contacted BFF and I came into their program by way of foster care.

I am an Aussie or Aussie mix...I do appear to be full blooded Aussie, but my tail was not docked at birth. It matters not what breed I am, only that I am the perfect boy. I am not that energetic..I do love being outside and running with my foster siblings. But then I like to chill with my pet parent or family.

I am, for the most part, housebroken, however accidents to happen. My new family will have to get me on their schedule.

I have no food aggression issues. I have no issues with cats, but the cats in my foster home are accustomed to dogs, so they do not run. A cat that runs, who knows, I may not do so well.

I am a sweet, handsome boy, love to be cuddled and snuggled. I am not a noisy boy, unless I am playing with other dogs, then I get excited a bit. I am approximately 1 1/2 to 2 yrs old. Still a young guy!!

I am fully vetted, up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. I weigh in at 25 lbs. My adoption fee is $325.00.

Before considering adoption, please study my breed.

There is an application process, this doesn't lock you in, it just gets the process started. There will be a home visit before placement. Your location is not an issue.

CONSIDER WHEN ADOPTING A PET, IT CAN BE A 15++ YR COMMITMENT.
PLEASE ADOPT RESPONSIBLY!!!
