My name is Atlas and I am approximately 4 years old. I don't hold the world on my shoulder like my namesake because I don't let the weight of the world get me down. Life has not been the easiest for me but life is too short for grudges. I am a special needs boy because I have a condition called chronic dry eye that will require me to have special<br/>eye drops the rest of my life. I can see but the clarity is impaired This does not impair me from having a good attitude or a good life, however. I make the best of everything!<br/><br/>I love people and am very sweet-natured. I am good with other dogs but would be best with dogs close to my own size. I am strong and want to play.<br/><br/>My forever home will have to be able to provide for my eye condition and be dilligent with the care. I would be best in a home with no kids under 12, and a home that is calmer. A retired family or “empty nester” would be ideal for me! I know there is a family who will love me even if I don't have eagle eye vision.<br/><br/>More will be posted about me as it becomes known as I am a brand new arrival and my foster parent is just getting to know me.
