Atlas's Story
If you're interested in adopting, please fill out the adoption application at https://www.sarahstreasuresrescue.net/application-to-adopt

3-4 year old Neutered Male Lab/Heeler type Mixed Breed approximately 40-45 pounds
Good with other dogs of all sizes with proper introductions
Ignores cats
Does great with people and doesn’t mind children of all ages
Kennel trained and house trained

Atlas arrived to rescue with a bum leg and trying to survive on the reservation. Once he arrived, we were able to determine his leg had multiple breaks and was unable to be saved, so therefore, he became a tripod. Atlas is a sweet quiet boy who loves to please. He knows some of his basic obedience and walks well on the leash. He is low to medium energy and enjoys daily walks, but he’s a good snuggle companion as well!

Atlas has been vet checked, is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, neutered, and current on his flea/tick/heartworm/deworming preventatives. Atlas’s adoption donation fee is $300.00

We realize that people are looking for a predominant breed or breed mixture, but visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
