She was originally rescued a couple months ago from an unsavory situation in southern Colorado. Luckily, this girl is completely unaffected by the first part of her life! She is literally the life of the party! She adores all dogs and is always looking for a canine buddy to play with or hang around! Athena is wonderful with children as well! She has been around kids of all ages and is happy to be their canine buddy. <br/><br/>Athena is healthy and happy and ready for an adventure buddy in her new human! Not to mention the fact that she's a looker too.... gorgeous markings and coloring! <br/><br/>Crate trained. Approximately 50 pounds. <br/><br/>Red Fern Animal Rescue offers a two week foster to adopt trial in your home before finalizing the adoption to ensure the animal is the right fit for you, everyone in the home, human & animal, and vice versa.<br/><br/>Red Fern Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster-based animal rescue in Denver that saves animals from abandonment and neglect in South Texas for new lives in Colorado. We primarily rescue dogs off the streets and the kill shelter in San Antonio.
